HI, I'M RADHIKA.
I’m an MBA from Lancaster University and a certified Mat Pilates instructor from BASI Pilates Academy in Amsterdam. After nearly three years in a corporate job, I quit, packed my bags and moved back from the Netherlands to India in 2026 for the love of wellness.
WHY I STARTED ‘NEED TO KNOW’
I wasn’t always into health. I was the skinny girl who was told to “just eat more paranthas” to gain weight. It never worked, because my body didn’t work like that. What changed everything was moving my body and then changing how I ate.
About three years ago I fell in love with wellness, and I’ve been deep in health, nutrition and movement ever since. Along the way, I kept learning things in my mid-20s that felt like basics everyone should know. What does a healthy, full plate actually look like? How does my period affect my iron, and how do I eat to balance it?
Wellness doesn’t need to be complicated. But we do need to know about it.
I soon realised this gap wasn’t just mine. I saw it in my friends and in my own family. In most Indian homes, we spend years reacting to health problems instead of preventing them, simply because no one told us what we needed to know.
So what if we started early? Eat clean (mostly, not perfectly), and move our bodies. That’s really it. We can’t control everything in life, but we can definitely look after ourselves better.
That’s why I started Need to Know: to share what we all need to know about food and movement, simply and honestly.
I hope you leave every page feeling one thing: Now you know.
